Every Tuesday morning, the prayer group gathers at 8:30 AM in the Chapel building.  At that time, the current prayer concerns of the church family are prayed over.   In addition to current prayer concerns, the Prayer Ministry Team prays for the men and women of our Armed Forces; the people of Haiti and Chile who are living in the aftermath of the recent earthquakes; the people in our country who are under the threat of storms, Horseshoe Drive UMC, her staff and her people; The Church Staff prays for the family of Horseshoe Drive UMC, our Bishop and members of the Annual Conference; and, other general concerns.  At this particular time, we are praying for the success of our Capital Campaign and our new Community Garden initiative.  

Prayer cards are located in the pews of the sanctuary.  These may be filled out on Sunday morning and handed to the ushers or placed in the offering plate.  You may also call the church office and have your particular prayer concern placed on the prayer list.  Also, please let the office know if a family member is in the hospital, is sick, is having a baby, has passed on, and we will make sure they are put on our prayer list.
